Hola!!
Happy Labor day to you all! I am currently enjoying this restful day in Whittier, CA with my beloved Shani brothers.
I came up yesterday morning and went to Church with them, and continued on to their friends house to spend the rest of the day in good company and great fellowship.
The craziest thing happened. Tetu (the older one) and his friend had just been talking about a fellow friend they had been meaning to pray for and talk to because his life was heading in the wrong direction.
Literally 20 minutes later, on our way to InNout for lunch, they ran into him!! How crazy! :) I wouldn't call this coincidence.
So they asked him to join us and spend the afternoon with us, which is what he did.
Praise the Lord, Tetu was able to have a very deep and convicting conversation with him led by the Holy Spirit.
It wasn't forced, in fact it was very casual, and as we were helping our friend move her belongings to her apartment, we could just see Tetu and this young man talking and talking away. As we would pass them, we would smile and pray for the conversation.
Today, he will be joining us again, the works of the Lord in us and through us are amazing!
In fact, I know I had mentioned earlier that I would share stories from my first trip in Norhtern California, which I might someday, but instead of writing long pages of stories, I will just express the convictions that I was blessed with through these stories, ones which I am very excited about, and truly hoping you will join me in prayer every step of the way!
So basically, in the past week of traveling in Chino, Nevada City, Santa Nicolaus, Santa Clara, Sacramento, and San Francisco, I was able to be in a lot of places and meet a lot of people.
At many points during this trip, I retreated from the place I was staying at to either wander around and take pictures, or call a friend, explore, journal, or just to read my Bible.
At two of these points, I was able to meet people and through absolutely casual conversations, witness to them. Talk about my beliefs and ask them about theirs, ask them why they believe what they believe as I shared why I believed in God and what He had done for me.
It was truly from above and I feel so blessed that God was able to use me, not necessarily to make these two people make life changing decisions, but even if it was just to plant a seed and keep praying for their salvation. I feel truly blessed.
All of this to say, I believe God's hidden agenda for me and this journey is to use the social skills He has blessed me with, to simply talk about Him and who he is as I run into interesting, unique, troubled, hopeless, poor, amazing, seeking, normal human beings along the road.
We all have a story, and we were put on this earth to share it. To glorify God through it. He is writing our story as we speak. The author of our lives. He blesses us and makes us rivers so we can bless others and share the Holy water of life!!
So here it is...I hope you can each join me on this journey through prayer.
Pray that I may prepare myself for conversations that God will lead me to. That I must trust the Holy Spirit to speak in me, and not have a fear of the unknown. ALso that I may seek His word, His truth, His knowledge, and wisdom that I may not stumble upon my words or question the things that I say, but may procclaim His name as it is in full confidence.
Thank you brothers and sisters,
Peace out!

An attempt at recording my journey through a life of mystery and excitement led by God's will, grace, and power.

- For those of you who know me there isn't a whole lot to say other than the fact that I am a crazy, weird, laid back, energetic ball of life who lives by the moment. I've got my share of ups and downs and an adventurous life of traveling. I hope to share some of this journey with you all as I try wrestling through questions and situations about who I am, what my purpose is, and my relationship with the Lord. Feel free to comment! Good or bad :)
