September 6th Devos
As I was doing some personal research online, there was a knock on my door. The Shani's cousin, Musa, walked in with a Bible and shared Psalm 119: 18-19
Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions. I am only a foreigner in the land. Don't hide your commands from me.
Musa said the Lord put this verse on His heart to encourage me to keep seeking the Word and as I do, God will enlighten His will for my life and open my eyes to understand parts of His instructions that had previously been blurry, grey , and unclear to me.
Funny enough, Musa barely knows anything about me. We met yesterday, and God spoke to me through Him.
What an encouragement. God is always talking, we just need to be more open to hearing and accepting His words.
Psalm 119:25-32
I lie in the dust; revive me by your word.
I told you my plans, and you answered. Now teach me your decrees.
Help me understand the meaning of your commandments, and I willl meditate on your wonderful deeds.
I weep with sorrow; encourage me by your word.
Keep me from lying to myself;
I have determined to live by your regulations.
I cling to your laws, Lord, don't let me be put to shame!
I will pursue your commands, for ou expand my understanding.
An attempt at recording my journey through a life of mystery and excitement led by God's will, grace, and power.

- For those of you who know me there isn't a whole lot to say other than the fact that I am a crazy, weird, laid back, energetic ball of life who lives by the moment. I've got my share of ups and downs and an adventurous life of traveling. I hope to share some of this journey with you all as I try wrestling through questions and situations about who I am, what my purpose is, and my relationship with the Lord. Feel free to comment! Good or bad :)
